There is much to do on the border of Brabant and Limburg, both active and relaxed! The location of the park is therefore ideal as a base for many trips and day trips. Visit the town of Venray, go on a voyage of discovery at ZooParc Overloon or learn more about the history of the Second World War in the War Museum.
In the immediate vicinity of and adjacent to the campsite are very beautiful forest areas for a beautiful forest walk with sights, including:
Nature reserve Boshuizerbergen; This area is approx. 246 ha and is adjacent to the campsite. The Boshuizerbergen mainly consists of coniferous forest with a large core of juniper thicket and some drifting sand corners surrounded by forest. The area features a 5-kilometer walking route.
Geijsteren estate; A nature reserve of approximately 700 ha. The area is located to the east of the Boshuizerbergen nature reserve. A stream meanders through the estate. The area is freely accessible and has various walking routes. The Pieterpad also runs through this area.
Rosmolen: An authentic watermill from 1667 located in the beautiful Landgoed Geijsteren located in the forest area diagonally opposite the campsite.
(Sint) Willibrordus chapel; Built around 1500, in the Gothic style and located in the Geijsteren estate. This chapel is located within walking distance of the campsite.
In addition, Venray is within cycling distance of the campsite, with its urban vibrancy and village character. Venray has a pleasant center with various catering squares, an extensive and diverse range of shops. There is also a cinema and a theater if the weather is not going well. The river Maas is also within cycling distance of the campsite. There are various water sports options on the Maas.
Instead of on or on the water, you can also enjoy a wonderful day of golf. Several golf courses are located in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, including Golf & Countryclub Geijsteren, Golfbaan Overloon or De Golfhorst in America.
